Yep. Our name isn't something we can go to the thesaurus in our mind and change on the fly, it's part of our core identity, and we're asked it enough growing up and throughout life that I'm thinking the negative experiences we've already had just condition us. I consider it a huge win at this point if I'm able to say my name without stuttering or prefacing it with something about how I haven't forgotten my name, I just have a stutter.
