After a hard block I may stop or switch words but relevant to the same topic and will look and feel exasperated like I’m catching my breath. I didn’t see that. It could be that because of his dementia he is no longer able to switch words in realtime, but that doesn’t explain other things he said. So it could be both but not stuttering alone.
