How involved have you been in these support groups? Not only is it a safe space but there are discussion and practice in dealing with the distress and difficulties related to stuttering. Also l, will you have a speech-language pathologist as part of these groups as ones who specialize in stuttering are trained in the evidence based research addressing the trauma and stress of stuttering.
