Buddy as hard and scary as this will sound to you...there is only one way to conquer your stutter, and that is to face it head on and SPEAK MORE. I know it sounds so contradictory to run towards your weakness but I'm an older guy and I really realise that is the only thing that reduces my stutter to almost non-existent. Speak...if they laugh so be it! Speak...if you stutter, so be it! You will see that it is the only genuine way to improve your stutter, which for most of is closely linked to anxiety. Take the anxiety, and your stutter will reduce...GUARANTEED. The only way to reduce your anxiety is to have confidence that whatever happens, you will get through it, and that only comes with doing hard things.... Anyway, you get the point. If your brave enough, try to set yourself some increasing challenges: perform a speech to yourself in the mirror.. speech so someone you trust, speech in front of 5 people, karaoke...etc etc. The worst thing for your stutter is NOT TO SPEAK ...it took me many many years to understand this. Good luck and feel free to message me if you feel like chatting to someone who's managed to figure out that the treasure you seek is hidden in the cave you fear.
