Fair enough. I just think it's better not to tell people definitively that they can learn to control it. I've spent a lot of hours in speech therapy and. I've done the intensive fluency shaping programs. I've achieved perfect fluency before and it felt great. And then it came back. Is it my fault? Should I have practiced harder? Am I just a broken piece of shit? These are the kinds of questions I asked myself. Some people can learn to manage it long term but others can't. And we don't know which camp the OP falls into.
