There are many helpful tips regarding interviewing that you'll find in this sub. I encourage you to go over them. Here's how I'll summarize what I've read in the past (and have been helpful for me): * Disclose your stutter before the interview (or alternatively stutter voluntarily in the beginning). This takes away the pressure to appear fluent, and you can focus on what you want to say instead. Most people mess up their interview because all their mental bandwidth is focused on not stuttering, and they cannot focus on answering the questions properly. * I know this sounds cliche, but it has worked for me. breathe every few words. If this means, taking a good long pause, so be it. Practice speaking with long pauses and focus on full breathing while speaking. This signals our mind to calm down. This also gives an impression that you're laid back and are confident. Most confident people take their time when saying something. * This is something you should talk to your doctor about: if your stutter worsened by anxiety, it might help to take something to reduce the anxiety during the interview. Again, I don't recommend this without talking to your doctor Good luck!
