I have stuttered my whole life and the amount of times I have been told to just “spit it out” or “slow it down” by just random people either at work or in public with friends is pretty ridiculous. I feel like a lot of ignorant people hear about “stuttering” and they think “Oh! Yeah I do that, I get tongue tied sometimes that must be what stuttering is” those kind of people suck.
