I was just at a movie the other month and during the movie previews I tried to whisper to my friend about the movie preview and my stutter was so bad I couldn’t even stammer my word out. It almost felt worse and I literally could not speak and he looked at me like “wtf” ( he knows I have a stutter and he’s very compassionate about it) but even he looked surprised at my inability to say anything. I ended up just not saying anything at all, cutting my sentence off and accepted defeat.
