Has anyone read this book on the Valsalva Hypothesis for Stutterers? https://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Controlling-Stuttering-Comprehensive-Hypothesis/dp/1929773242 The author rationalizes stuttering in an interesting way, and seems to put together plausible explanations that account for some extremely paradoxical phenomenons observed in stutterers. Author himself used to severely stutter but appears very fluent now. But despite that this isn't an idea that seems to have found mainstream acceptance in the scientific literature around stuttering. Wondering if anyone that's heard of this could chime in.
