Too scared to talk to people

Too scared to talk to people As a 16 year old guy in high school, I’ve recently tried to get a job. I’ve been applying for a couple months to multiple businesses, but I’ve never followed up with any of them. I’ve never called, or gone to any of them to ask about updates on my application. I’m just so scared to go talk to people I’ve never met, and for them to have their first time speaking with me, I’m barely able to do so. It’s just so nerve racking, and I don’t know how to help myself. I want a job, but too nervous and have too much anxiety to talk to people. It’s even hard to talk to my mom, and friends. Any suggestions?
