This is a really great philosophy that has effected me throughout my stuttering journey, sales journey, and more! To put it into perspective with stuttering, from when I first looked within and faced my fear head on and decided I would stop dwelling on my stutter no matter what, what happened was, rather than force through the word, clenching as tight as I can feeling as though I could push the word out, I would rather start repeating in the general area. It didn't really matter if it was the exact word or a word or 2 before where I felt the block always stopping me, with every repeat I would care less and less, trust in the process more and more knowing it would let go momentarily. The less I cared, the less I truly cared for the result, the easier it just came out just as the video describes, like a river. I used to describe it like a thumb trap where the harder we try to pull out, the tighter it got, the less we tried and just trusted the universe so to speak, the easier it came out. This philosophy effected me greatly with sales as well. The more I cared about my struggles and wanted the sale, the more difficult it was. Once I let go, I began trusting the process, and just as the video says, it's not that I stopped caring, it's that I stopped clenching onto it. I highly recommend this video if you feel like you are in a difficult bind in an area of your life. It puts into thoughtful words what I think many would benefit hearing.
