I once got given a section 5 public order for swearing at a police officer after he refused to believe that I had a stutter. He pulled me over on my pushbike after I had cycled past a lollypop lady (lol), anyway. I stuttered when I responded to him, most the time when I stutter I make a pretty loud tutting/teeth sucking sound with my tounge (it sucks) and he told me not to tut at him because it was rude - even though the timing of me making the sound was completely different to how you would tut at someone. I told him that I wasn't tutting and that I had a stutter and couldn't help it, he then proceeded to say "oh and now you're lying as well" understandably this got me pretty annoyed so I said "I'm not F*** ing tutting mate I've got a stutter" he then told me if i swore again then he'd arrest me under section 5 bla de bla. Because he basically stopped me for no reason anyway I said that I wasn't prepared to deal with him if he was going to accuse me of lying about the fact I had a stutter and went to get on my bike and ride off. He then pulled me off my bike on to the ground so I told him to "Get the F*** off me" and he slammed me in the back of the car :( That and pretty much every time Im walking past someone I know, go to say hi and just end up looking at them, pulling a weird face, and not saying anything...haha
