My mom stutters (not as bad as me though) and well, it sucks, but I wouldn't put off having kids for that reason. ​ 1. It might not even happen. I have siblings that don't stutter. 2. It kind of suggests that having a stutter means that life isn't worth it. It's not something that can legit shorten someone's lifespan like cystic fibrosis or something. Or a severe problem like an intellectual disability that means that a person would likely never be able to live without care from someone else. A person with a stutter can live a relatively normal life depending on the severity and access to certain treatments. 3. Even disregarding the sutter, there's always a chance that something can go wrong. It's not something that you can plan for (barring screenable disorders like Down Syndrome). Of course it's up to you, but those are just my two cents.
