There's hope for me yet then! Just turned 60 and been stuttering as far back as my memory can go, been nothing but a curse ALL my life.. it's a total disability and those who don't stutter can only say its not.. I'm glad your over it now, must be such a relief to not 'that' feeling going to shops or joining in conversations, heck, must even be nice just to be able to tell a proper joke and not just silly one liners!
