Men are expected to make the first move. Not *sometimes* but almost every time. Even without stuttering, dating is more difficult for men. Women expect men to be funny, confident, and charismatic. If you don't have these qualities you are disposable in societies' eyes and you must lower your standards. I'd like to know how many women actually approach men. I'm sure it doesn't hold a candle to the amount of men who approach first. Yes, both female and male stutterers have the same issues that comes with stuttering. But getting the foot in the door is a much harder task for a stuttering male.
