Is it normal to stutter in your head?

Is it normal to stutter in your head? Why do I stutter in my head thinking thoughts? When my brother used to stutter (he doesn't anymore, he grew out of it) he said he used to stutter in his head too. Is this normal? Even when I'm reading in my mind I stutter! That's why I sometimes hate reading cuz I stutter in my mind
