Depends on how you define stuttering. I know someone who used to stutter and struggled a lot with it, and now he speaks 99% fluent and occasionally has some disfluencies. More importantly, he never thinks or worries about stuttering. He doesn't try to avoid it or hide it. That's as close as 'curing' as you can get, I think. (He got there because of ARTS therapy)
