I'm afraid to tell the guy I'm dating about my stutter I know that I have a lot of great qualities, and my stutter doesn't define me. However, I've had people in the past get annoyed or make fun of my stutter, like my brother. My brother thinks that stuttering is something that is easily controlled. Anyway, the guy I'm dating comes from a really small town in a conservative area. I'm worried that he might perceive the same thing of me. That I'm using my stutter as an excuse.
