I think it's historically, Men have been the ones to speak up and ask a girl out on a date. Girls usually let the man engage in that process. Like an conservative chivalry type thinking. So in that sense it's understandable for men to think they have more demands put on them to be able to communicate their needs clearly. Many men are brought up to think they need to provide for the family. Males are ego driven as well so... There's that. Also this doesn't apply to all females and all males obviously everyone is different so categorizing people is humanities doom. Don't think that everyone's the same because we aren't.
