I feel you and I’ve been there. The looks people give just seem to eat at your soul over time. When I was still stuttering a lot I would just pretend I didn’t notice or just kinda laugh it off. It didn’t really work and I’d sit in bed at night just replaying it in my head. You need to start feeling better about yourself. Try some positive affirmations and writing them down. It seemed a bit corny to me at first but it really does work. Read aloud to yourself in private. Let yourself hear your true voice. Record it and listen to it. Don’t give up. It will get better. You have the power to make your life what you want it to be. You really do.
