Face your scariest moment several times and try not to control your fear, anxiety and stutter, let them be there, release yourself, say to yourself "whatever happens, happens I dont care anymore and I wont try to control or reduce it". Each time that you face it, you get better for the next time and after several times repeating this scenario youll become fearless, but you need to repeat this once in a while to keep you on the track. Its similar to laser hair removal treatment that you need to have it done once a month for several sessions, then only once a year would be enough afterwards :D I was told this by my psychiatrist and after 4 month of doing it I feel much better and the quality of my life has improved significantly. I stutter more because I dont control it anymore and I dont care that sometimes I forget its there, doesnt bother me anymore and I have accepted it as part of who I am.
