Well... it's unlikely that you stutter because you "remember" it. We don't know exactly how stutter works yet, but we know it's not the result of "being remembered". So, perhaps you rather pay more attention to it when it happens, and that sort of thing can compound. Did you ever try visiting a speech therapist?
