Im sorry you feel disappointed after reading your letter. Something like a stutter can be a lifelong struggle, and you can’t really grasp that as a ten year old. You don’t have to give up trying to fix it, although I personally take the self acceptance route. So maybe your goals continue for another decade. You’ve spent 10 years ruling out other ways to improve your speech, that’s not lost time. You’ve narrowed your search. Don’t you think your ten year old self would be proud of your efforts?
