I think this goes for everyone. I wonder if it's possible to actually stutter when alone? Do children/toddlers who start talking stutter when alone? What is it about seeing someone's face, talking to people on the phone or even just the act of conversing that makes our vocal chords tense up? Why can we sing in front of people, but not read out loud fluently? I've never tried it, but are we able to fluently record a monologue alone? So, so many dumb founding questions. Edit, it's no where near as bad anymore but I have blocks, sound elongation and sound repetition. All the stutters... High school was hard as you can imagine.
