Speech therapy advice Hi all. My brother has a moderate/severe stutter since his birth, we think due to being born at 24 weeks. My parents REFUSED to get him help when he was younger, now he’s 28 and stutters on every 4th word or so. It’s made him incredibly depressed, most of his friends are online and he doesn’t have the confidence to date as women have bullied him for his stutter. I’ve offered to pay for him to get speech therapy but is it helpful at this age? How do I go about finding a reputable therapist who helps with stuttering in adulthood?? Any advice is helpful thank you, It kills me to watch my brother pass so much of his life away over his lack of confidence
