Push through it. It was harder when I was younger. Work hard enough to make up for communication short comings. It’s embarrassing, but I refuse to let it stop me. Work ethic is the most important thing. Show up earlier and work harder then anyone on the crew. Stuttering is embarrassing, but there are worse disabilities to have. My grandmother use to tell me “at least you weren’t born without feet in a salt mine”. It’s silly but it stuck with me. You really have to psych yourself out and pump yourself up.
