I can't tell you what it would mean to my son if he was your patient. Visibility is key for the younger generation of stutterers. It means so much to see someone successful who has a stutter. Think of when Biden had that young man from New Hampshire introduce him all of those years ago. My husband and I had tears roll down our faces. Nursing is noble! You are going to give wonderful care to your patients. That is what they need. They aren't going to care if you stutterer. They just want respect and loving kindness as they heal. You go get that degree and hold your neck up!
