I don't know what the jet programme is but I taught English and chemistry in China and they didn't even background check me or even check my qualifications if you speak English they're willing to pay big bucks if you want to china you'll be wealthy there. But I mean technically a stutter is a form of disability because you can have days where you can't even speak because it's so bad and prevents you from doing things not to mention the knock on effect of the social anxiety and depression etc, and discrimination against a disability is illegal, anyway because you have a stutter doesn't mean you are incapable of doing the job affectively there are far more characteristics to a teacher just than the ability to communicate verbally, and anyway you can use it as a strength say - because you've stuttered your whole life not only do you take your time and therefore captivate people's attention more by speaking slowly and confidently but you've developed the ability to emphasise with others very well particularly in a school setting where as a child it must have been difficult for you so you can say that you are more likely to be able to spot children struggling or lacking the confidence to speak up rather than having them be a fly on the wall and slip through the educational cracks and therefore you can better divide your attention between students in class and make sure all the students get the best attention and teaching you can offer. You can be honest about the difficulties bit explain how they can be turned into strengths
