If I stopped stuttering as a kid then yeah, my life would have changed enormously. But with age must come integration of experiences, lessons are learned, and all that feeds identity. Whatever you go through in life, however shitty, you can't just wish it away. You have to accept it and make some sense of it. It's worth taking a Stoic approach: focus on what you can control, not what you can't.
