I definitely try and hide it, I use my hands to slowly guide the words out, but not to the point where it’s weird hand gestures but its noticeable. Watched a lot of body language videos that dictate what a normal use of hands and integrate it. It usually works unless I’m excited or happy, so I have to constantly enforce a sadder dimmer personality. Instead of the one I wish I could show. But even when I was in speech therapy I never became comfortable with my speech impediment. Have you? And is it because it’s more mild? I have good speech days wheres it’s barely noticeable but there are days where I can barely get a single word out and it’s a reminder to everyone who forgot about my stutter, including myself.
