I tell myself I don’t stutter and had crazy confidence until I stopped saying I don’t stutter anymore and it gotten worse In the summer I was talking to a mutual friend of mine and we was talking bout how rich people become rich and how they had to change their subconscious mind to believe they are rich and the best ways to do that is right when u wake up start to tell yourself I’m rich , I’m confident , and start to visualize ur goal because when you become drowsy when you wake up ur brain can’t tell if it’s a dream or not so it’ll start to believe in the things you say . Same thing goes for when your super tired and sleepy you become drowsy and you repeat it, so I took that advice and started to tell myself I don’t stutter I don’t care every morning and every night and the results after 2 weeks was life changing not only did I not stutter at all but I had this confidence that I could talk to anyone for hours and not stutter so when I believed it to be true I knew I didn’t stutter . I recently stopped doing that and I’ve been stuttering so much since , I think to stop stuttering it all has to do with mindset and confidence in believing in yourself that you don’t stutter. Edit: Ik confidence isn’t the end be all but when I really believed I didn’t stutter I legit told myself i didn’t but you have to work on yourself trying to improve as well, not just say affirmations. Also do things that calms ur mind or things that you like to do so you don’t become stress so you can live ur best life.
