That TLJ speech impediment wasn't a real stutter though, I believe. I mean, I've personally never stuttered like that or even heard anyone stutter like that. Even if it was, there are some reason of us who only stutter in those types of stressful situations. Disney is hell bent on being inclusive, even using non-binary "they" pronouns/characters in Star Wars books etc, so I don't think any malice was intended. I certainly didn't take it that way. If anything I was happy to finally be "kind of" represented. I'm no Disney apologist, but I'm not sure I agree with your sentiment. If however, famous stutterers could come forward that would go a long way to remove the negativity toward us. I was once mistaken for a mentaly challenged person by a person I went to school with (not in my grade and after I had already graduated) because I guess I was the only person she knew that had such an affliction.
