The most helpful courses I have been on have been based on self-therapy for the stutterer by Malcolm Fraser. It is available for free here - [https://stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0012\_11th\_ed.pdf](https://stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0012_11th_ed.pdf) If you cannot find therapy I think that this is a good place to start. It is mostly about acceptance and better understanding yourself and your condition. Towards the end, there is a section on speech modification to make stuttering events easier to manage. I found this the right thing for me. Don't get me wrong. I am on a long journey. I still get anxiety. You would need to hold my family hostage before I go through a drive through. Generally though, I feel that I am in a pretty good place.
