My story is one of humor and fear. I used to work at a small restaurant, and I was cutting vegetables. I was all alone in the kitchen at the time. All of a sudden, I smell something burning. I turned around, and some meat on the stove was burning! I rush to someone at the front of the house, and say “fire!” Just kidding. I said “f-f-f-f-...” and nothing else came out. The person at the front of the house looked at me with utter confusion. The chef who left the meat on the stove eventually came back and put out the fire. So embarrassing.
