Just to be clear, I mean a full cup of water, not just a sip or two. You know how we’re supposed to drink 2-3 liters of water a day? Make sure he drinks at least 2 liters a day. Also, when we talk, we tend to lift our neck up, especially when we stutter, but that will close our air pipe. Tell him to move his chin close to his chest, the pipe would automatically open. I don’t know his stuttering type but that may help. All of these are just suggestions. Don’t force him if he doesn’t want to do it. Please do this privately and don’t do it in front of a team. Even though our stuttering is obvious to everyone, being addressed in a team session would be humiliating… at least in my experience. I would literally die if my stuttering was discussed publicly.
