"We don´t care about your stuttering"- How do you feel about this? Hello y´all, I´ve hearing frequently people dont care about my stuttering and that I should just talk, fluency aside, and chose words more carefully - I don´t know about you guys but sometimes I chose an easier path that I know I´ll be more fluent. Sometimes, though, the tone or words may come out a little harder than what people expect. I know those people say that with good intentions and that I should feel safe to speak, but at the same time, I just don´t feel OK with myself not being fluent, knowing how much this has impacted my life as whole and the challenges I have daily to be functional while being a stutterer. Is this a selfish thought ? How do you guys feel about it ? Cheers!
