The first step is always acknowledging and accepting that your stutter. Beating yourself up over your stutter is no way to live! Trust me, because I used to be very negative about my stutter. I still get bouts of depression, self-doubt, and anger/frustration about my stutter, but they are less now that I’ve been attending speech therapy.
