Job Orientation Yesturday was one of the humiliating thing in my life. So at the orientation, me and my new coworkers had to take turns reading some paragraphs from the handbook. My goal was the make a good impression since it was orientation but it didn’t work out. When it was my turn, as usual I blocked on the first word since it started with “D”, eventually I got through the paragraph, many blocks later. After that, i just sunk down in my seat and tried to focus on the rest of orientation, but it was hard—I was shaking the whole time. The worst part is that I have to work as a server (it’s a long story), but I’m just freaking out and I have to see them again today and I feel embarrassed and humiliated.
