I used the phone relay service for a number of years. In that respect, I considered myself disabled to the extent that I was using a service provided by the US gov for disabled persons. I looked into applying for a government job as a disabled person but in the end opted to not have that on record. My stutter at the time was definitely severe enough to use a relay service, it has lessened over the years and I started making calls on my own.
