I disagree about giving into fear. Yes, talking on the phone absolutely gets easier — anything scary does. Why not cut out the unnecessary stresses in life? People used to only drive manual transmission cars. At some point automatic transmissions became the norm and barely anyone has manual cars anymore. Did everyone give into the fear of driving manual cars? Nope, something easier came along. I see my future AI assistant as absolutely the same type of advancement.
