The filler words is a good suggestion, but it can become problematic. Here's why: I started using filler words mainly the word "Uhm" with a slight stretch to stop myself from blocking but now every second or third word that comes out of my mouth is a filler word. Not sure if you're familiar with Justin Trudeau's speaking style but it sounds like that. Now I'm working with my SLP to stop me from using filler words as a clutch. It's a great suggestion because believe me, it works but yeah.
