I agree with what you wrote. The thing is, I am old enough to look at it from more mature side and conclude that I have pretty good life even with my stutter. I was discussing my stutter with girlfriend the other day and I came to conclusion (it was surprising even to me) that if I had to choose to start my life over and choose if I'd stutter or not, I'd have problem choosing one or the another. In my opinion, my stutter made me who I am today. I like myself, who knows what would have happened with me if stutter didn't influence that. However, I am starting some speech therapy this summer as well. I'll be going on a 12 day intense therapy so I hope I'll gain something from it. I hope you'll accomplish your goals as well and glad that you have such positive look at it.
