I had speech therapy in elementary school for a stutter and learned through techniques to stutter 98% less. I also practice speaking so it's been easier as an adult. In moments of stress, overstimulating, or confusion I stutter. If I need to order something I've never ordered before- like a counter service food establishment where I also have to yell over the noise- is real tough for me. I usually just end up speaking incredibly slow while having a meltdown inside.
