I've been there. I'm also a blocker and used to feel really down about my speech, it even gave me depression twice and social anxiety and sometimes I still doexperience those (mostly aocial anxiety) but what truly helped me was doing speech therapy (not the expensive traditional kind although I tried that twice) to stutter/block less, taking medications to reduce anxiety, and then reading everyday the 17 automatic cognitive distortions like mind reading and catastrophizing. So it took a lot of work it took about 2 years and nowhere am I near close to being completely fluent or anxiety free but I am so happy where I am at compared to where I was. Today I did a job interview and absolutely CRUSHED it. No fear, no anxiety, no stutter. Funny enough the person interviewing me said they overcame a stutter. We really hit it off.
