Your stuttering will get worse or better depending on your minds memory bank. The more negative stuttering memories you have, the more you will stutter. The more positive fluency memories you have, the less you will stutter. An easy trick that works for me, when my stuttering gets worse, I will read aloud something positive to myself for about 1 hour a day, this flushes out some of my negative stuttering memories with positive fluency memories (me reading to myself fluently). I also will call someone that I have very low anxiety of stuttering around and practice my speaking techniques to them (using synonyms, adding random inflection to my voice, skipping the first etter in a word, intentional controlled stuttering, etc).
