I just want to be able to say my own name

I just want to be able to say my own name I got myself down on a speech therapy list today. I haven’t had speech therapy in almost 8 years, since I was a kid. I’ve just been denying it and waiting for it to go away for this whole time. Obviously it’s not going away. I don’t know how long I have to wait but I feel I’ve taken my first step in a long time on the road towards getting to grips with my stammer. I hope you are all taking your own steps towards that as well, no matter how small.
