I have been stuttering for 40 years, the only advice I can give is encourage her to never let it hold her back. There are many famous successful people in history who have had some form of speech impediment. Support her, encourage her and reassure her, hope she does out grow it though. Like others have said there is little to nothing known about the brain and stuttering.
