I’m 24 and yeah people tend to think I’m “slow” until they actually take the time to listen and hold a conversation with me and it usually ends up with them blown away by the depth I can take any conversation when I’m not feelings rushed or judged. Idk if it’s just me but writing has helped me get through some blocks for ex some days after I journal my thoughts out I’m a little more fluent I guess it’s because I’ve given myself time to explore my consciousness a bit esp since I tend to deep think/overthink everything. Maybe give journaling a try and by no means am I suggesting that it’ll fix or cure the stutter bc I certainly still stutter but I find it really helps clear out some cob webs and sometimes the things you’ve written about get brought up in conversation so speaking on set topic becomes easier bc you’ve already thought it out!
