Ohh! "Paper Boy" by Vince Vawter! A novel loosely based on the author's childhood. I read it a few years ago and it was wonderful. Written by an author with a severe stutter, so it's as accurate as you can get in portraying the experience. (There is a sequel to it, but I haven't gotten around to it yet) Quick heads up if you do check it out: There are no quotation marks used around dialogue. It was the first book I'd come across where an author had chosen that style, so it was a little odd and took some getting used to. I didn't find it to detract from the story, but some may find it annoying.
