This legal component is important to keep in mind, so thank you for reminding me. I lead the team we are on together, but organizationally, and personally, we are peers. I think we are probably on the way to becoming friends. He's invited me to hang out outside of work, which I intend to take him up on soon. I've realized through this thread that a better way of phrasing my question is probably, how can I foster an environment that can at least not make things any harder? It seems like living with a stutter is a very personal thing, and that experience varies from person to person. So maybe I'm just trying to be aware of my blind spots so I don't do any harm, which is something I should be cognizant of for everyone on the team.
